Jeff is a partner at Yoder Ainlay Ulmer & Buckingham LLP, where he is a member of the firm’s litigation and employment law practice groups. He specializes in commercial, business and employment litigation and in personal injury defense.

Areas of Practice


In 2000, Jeff received his J.D., cum laude, from the Valparaiso University School of Law, where he was a member of the Moot Court Society. He received his B.A. from Kalamazoo College in 1995. From 1995 to 1997 Jeff was a Hanns-Seidel Fellow at the Freie Universitaet zu Berlin, where he studied comparative politics with a focus on Eastern Europe.

Community Involvement

Jeff lectures frequently on civil practice, non-compete and non-solicitation agreements and employment matters. His many civic activities include service as a Trustee and Corporate Secretary for the Boys and Girls Club of Elkhart County and as a Director for the Elkhart County 4-H Fair, Greater Goshen Association, and the Goshen Chamber of Commerce.
